In January 2024, the City of Parksville announced the change in name of the Parksville Community Centre to the Jensen Centre. Located at 132 Jensen Avenue East in Parksville and operated by BGC Central Vancouver Island, the Jensen Centre is home to childcare spaces for infants to school age, spaces for school age children, as well as youth and parent programs.

Space is available at the Jensen Centre for community uses such as meetings, workshops, sports groups, community groups, birthday parties, weddings, or casual use.
